before jumping in, i have to say Rest in Peace to Benny Andrews, Ed Bradley, and Gerald Levert...
they all left too soon, IMHO, but we are better for having known them.....
and now that most of the post Election Day dust has settled, i'd like to say thanks to the few folks in Ole' Virginny that thought better than to re-elect a flaming xenophobe to the Senate...
all things being equal, i'm cynical enough to believe that most politicians are interchangeable -especially the career ones...however, i'm glad that the House & Senate are 'balanced' now...maybe the appearance of equality and propriety will actually manifest into reality?
